Polishing Concrete to a Lustrous Shine

Polished Concrete, polishing cement, honed concrete, diamond ground concrete, it all has to do with taking a gray dull concrete surface and adding a shine. Diamond polishing abrasive pads, such as Hybrid Floor Pad HR75 and Typhoon Resin Polishing Pad TY90, are attached to a mechanical grinder or polisher and as the diamonds gets progressively finer the concrete gets smoother and shinier.

Polished concrete can be done dry or wet, and with or without densifiers or hardeners and can have a number of various treatments done to the concrete to improve its shine, stain resistance, abrasion resistance and hardness.
